Responsibilities
- Conduct research to produce thought-provoking reports, data models, and presentations.
- Support bespoke consulting projects, answering unique questions with data analysis.
- Help the Sales team retain and win new business through engagement with customers.
- Collaborate with colleagues in Data and Product functions to maintain data quality.
- Carry out primary research and present to industry stakeholders, building relationships.
Requirements
- A degree in mining engineering, geology, economics, metallurgical engineering, or a related discipline.
- 2–6 years of relevant experience in the mining industry, consulting, or market analysis, ideally with exposure to any of the following commodities – nickel, graphite, battery raw materials or rare earth minerals.
- Strong quantitative and qualitative research skills and good working knowledge of PowerPoint.
- Excellent numerical analytic capabilities, including problem-solving and technical skills in Microsoft Excel.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English; additional languages are a plus.
- The ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, global environment.
- Commitment to commercial excellence and experience managing clients.
- A proactive and adaptable mindset, with a willingness to contribute to a variety of tasks and projects.
