About the role

  • Conduct research to produce thought-provoking reports, data models, and presentations.
  • Support bespoke consulting projects, answering unique questions with data analysis.
  • Help the Sales team retain and win new business through engagement with customers.
  • Collaborate with colleagues in Data and Product functions to maintain data quality.
  • Carry out primary research and present to industry stakeholders, building relationships.

Requirements

  • A degree in mining engineering, geology, economics, metallurgical engineering, or a related discipline.
  • 2–6 years of relevant experience in the mining industry, consulting, or market analysis, ideally with exposure to any of the following commodities – nickel, graphite, battery raw materials or rare earth minerals.
  • Strong quantitative and qualitative research skills and good working knowledge of PowerPoint.
  • Excellent numerical analytic capabilities, including problem-solving and technical skills in Microsoft Excel.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English; additional languages are a plus.
  • The ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, global environment.
  • Commitment to commercial excellence and experience managing clients.
  • A proactive and adaptable mindset, with a willingness to contribute to a variety of tasks and projects.
