Responsibilities
Lead supply chain projects from initiation through completion, including project planning, resource allocation, timeline management, and stakeholder engagement.
Develop project plans, milestones, and progress to ensure timely delivery of objectives.
Mitigate project risks and implement mitigation strategies to ensure successful outcomes, through contract agreements.
Identify and facilitate area Requests for Proposal (RFPs), manage project budgets, and drive cost reduction initiatives.
Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and internal customers to support project goals and foster collaboration.
Perform supplier performance reviews, feedback, and issue resolution.
Drive supplier development and continuous improvement initiatives within the region.
Establish and track key performance indicators (KPIs) for supply chain projects and supplier performance.
Collect, analyze, and report data on project outcomes and supplier metrics to Area Leadership and Corporate Supply Chain Directors on a quarterly basis.
Present findings and recommendations to drive strategic decision-making and process improvements.
Develop and implement sourcing strategies for assigned spend categories, leveraging volume and spend to maximize value.
Collaborate with Corporate Strategic Sourcing Managers and Area Procurement Managers to align area initiatives with enterprise objectives.
Continuously seek opportunities to reduce costs and enhance contract compliance.
Work closely with other ASCMs, functional subject matter experts, and business units to share best practices and drive value chain improvements.
Participate in special projects and activities that enhance the effectiveness of the supply chain department.
Align with area site leadership to identify cost savings and project management opportunities.
Requirements
Bachelor’s Degree (accredited) in Supply Chain, Business Administration, Project Management, or a related field; or High School Diploma/GED (accredited) and four (4) years of relevant work experience.
Experience: Five years of relevant work experience.
