About the role

• Intern will assist in supply chain operations and purchasing processes at Wilson Sons, a major logistics provider in Brazil. Responsibilities involve data management and supplier interactions.

Responsibilities

• Participate in a job rotation program across the various subsystems and processes within the Procurement and Insurance area, such as: Master Data, Purchase Follow-up, Supplier and Third-Party Management, Insurance, Purchasing (MRO, Services, Consumables and Equipment), Systems (COUPA and SAP), Purchasing Intelligence, KPIs and Supply Agreements;
• Support the operational and administrative activities of the Procurement and Insurance area, contributing to the organization and updating of documents, spreadsheets and reports;
• Assist in the quotation and contracting processes for materials and services, ensuring compliance with deadlines, internal policies and market best practices;
• Provide support in monitoring purchase orders and managing contracts with suppliers, ensuring accurate records and delivery timelines;
• Support the team in the analysis and management of corporate insurance policies (property, operational, among others), as well as control of policy terms, renewal deadlines and contractual updates;
• Contribute to the handling and monitoring of claims, assisting in the collection of information, documentation and liaising with brokers and insurers;
• Participate in updating dashboards, performance indicators and other management controls for the area;
• Interact with internal departments and external suppliers, developing negotiation, communication and teamwork skills.

Requirements

• Undergraduate degree in progress in Business Administration, Statistics or Engineering (Mechanical, Production, Materials, Naval or Electrical);
• Availability to intern 6 consecutive hours per day during business hours;
• Microsoft Word – Intermediate;
• Microsoft PowerPoint – Intermediate;
• Microsoft Excel – Advanced;
• Google Data Studio – (desired);
• English – Intermediate;
• Power BI – Intermediate.
