Responsibilities
- Kickstart our mobile app from scratch, setting up the foundation for a fast, reliable, and beautiful React Native experience
- Design, build, and ship high-quality features that make trading simple and intuitive on mobile
- Collaborate closely with design, backend, and product teams to turn ideas into polished, production-ready experiences
- Help define our mobile architecture, tooling, and best practices as we grow the app and the team
- Take ownership of your work (from prototype to production) with a focus on performance, usability, and scalability
- Write clean, testable code and contribute to a culture of technical excellence
- Work hand-in-hand with other engineers to move fast, learn fast, and iterate quickly
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in software development, with a focus on mobile applications
- Experience with React, Node.js, and PostgresQL or roughly-equivalent technologies
- Extensive experience with React Native, having led or significantly contributed to mobile app projects built from scratch
- Deep knowledge of JavaScript/TypeScript and related tooling
- Ability to communicate clearly and write clear documentation
- Hands-on experience with web technologies such as React, HTML, and CSS, especially helpful for aligning mobile and web experiences
