About the role
- Senior Cloud Infrastructure Engineer developing and operating Kubernetes services for CLOUD4EUROPE project. Supporting team by creating solutions and participating in a 24x7 on-call schedule.
Responsibilities
- Implementation, operation, and further development of Kubernetes services within the CLOUD4EUROPE project
- Support in the development and operation of the managed Kubernetes platform based on Cluster API and OpenStack
- Development of custom Kubernetes Operators and REST APIs
- Conducting problem and error analyses and devising sustainable solutions
- Participation in a 24x7 on-call rotation
- Orchestrating infrastructure with GitOps and Kubernetes, based on ArgoCD and Kustomize
Requirements
- Solid IT knowledge and extensive experience with Kubernetes
- Design and operation of (Linux-based) infrastructure
- Experience with GitOps for configuration management and automation is advantageous
- Development of complex tools (preferably in Golang)
- Good German and conversational English skills
