About the role

  • Entry level Hardware Engineer overseeing designs and documentation for Nuclear power Plant Process Computer Systems. Assisting in testing and integration while meeting customer requirements and safety standards.

Responsibilities

  • Perform review of hardware design, review in the area of system architecture, network layout, cabinet design, system cabling interface, custom panel and kit design, cabinet power design.
  • Perform review of data acquisition designs including interface cabling and custom adapter designs
  • Learning and understanding of component selection to meet system needs and contract deliverables.
  • Participate in the set-up, system modification and system integration and testing, and delivery of our Projects.
  • Understand and implement the quality standards applicable to nuclear safety systems.
  • Willing to travel and work with local customers.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or Mechanical Engineering with applicable years' experience drawing review and design.
  • Minimum 0 -2 years of applicable experience required.
  • Data acquisition hardware and software
  • Entry level knowledge of circuit designs to support custom cables and interfaces.
  • Entry level knowledge of Data Acquisition systems consisting of Servers, workstations, controllers, I/O modules or boards.
  • Experience with ACAD, 3D modeling.
  • Drawing creation and review.
  • Experience with Cisco switches.
  • Experience with RTP data acquisition systems.
  • Experience with Servers and workstations.
