About the role
- SAP EWM Solution Architect overseeing warehousing solutions for diverse industries. Collaborating on innovative SAP projects and leading EWM solution architecture.
Responsibilities
- Own the overall SAP EWM solution architecture for greenfield, brownfield, or migration projects (e.g., ECC to S/4HANA).
- Lead the design of scalable and integrated EWM solutions for inbound, outbound, inventory, labor management, and warehouse automation processes.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders, functional consultants, and developers to define business requirements and translate them into end-to-end solution designs.
- Guide the integration of EWM with SAP modules such as MM, SD, PP, TM, and third-party systems (e.g., WCS, 3PL, automation systems).
- Ensure alignment with SAP best practices and industry standards in warehouse and supply chain processes.
- Evaluate the impact of custom developments and advise on build vs. buy decisions.
- Collaborate with project managers to define scope, timelines, resource planning, and risk management for EWM-related workstreams.
- Support testing strategy, cutover planning, go-live execution, and post-go-live stabilization.
- Provide thought leadership on EWM innovations, including automation, robotics, and AI applications.
- Engage actively with clients to drive project scope, solution design, and deployment activities.
Requirements
- 10+ years of SAP EWM experience with multiple full life cycle implementations across diverse industries.
- Strong product knowledge of EWM, including PPF functionality, ERP integration settings, TM/TU integration, PP/QM/MM integration, POSC, WOCRs, and Wave Management.
- Proven experience designing and delivering EWM solutions in both S/4HANA and ECC environments.
- Excellent communication and client engagement skills.
- Strong understanding of warehouse and supply chain business processes.
- Ability to lead large-scale EWM implementations from architecture through deployment.
- Knowledge of integration with automation and robotics in warehouse environments.
- Willingness and ability to travel 50–80% of the time.
