About the role
- Segment Manager Automotive responsible for strategic development in the automotive sector for WEISS. Collaborating closely with national and European sales teams to expand customer base and market presence.
Responsibilities
- Further development of the automotive industry segment / Body-in-White (BiW)
- Management and expansion of business relationships with OEMs, line builders and Tier-1 suppliers
- Identification and acquisition of new target customers in Germany and across Europe
- Development of customer-specific system solutions in the field of automation
- Technical point of contact for the sales team across the EMEA region
- Provide input for product improvements and new applications
Requirements
- Technician or degree in mechatronics, mechanical engineering, drive technology or automation engineering
- Several years of experience in automation or in machinery/plant engineering
- Experience working with customers from the automotive industry is an advantage
- Technical understanding of system solutions
- Good spoken and written English
- Willingness to undertake domestic and international business travel
