About the role
- Senior Salesforce Systems Engineer at Weedmaps responsible for owning technical direction and leading sophisticated integrations. Focused on Salesforce implementations and effective project management.
Responsibilities
- Design and maintain robust integrations between Salesforce and our enterprise stack, specifically focusing on SAP S/4HANA and financial middleware.
- Lead high-stakes Salesforce-to-Salesforce migrations, ensuring data integrity, metadata mapping, and minimal business disruption.
- Build, manage, and optimize CI/CD pipelines (Copado, Gearset, or Azure DevOps) to ensure seamless, automated deployments.
- Act as a technical project lead, gathering requirements from management and managing delivery timelines for your own workstreams.
- Optimize our data flow using middleware tools (MuleSoft, Boomi, CPI or similar) to connect SFDC with external data warehouses and cloud platforms.
- Support SOX compliance, audit readiness, and change-management controls for financially significant CRM processes.
Requirements
- 7+ years of hands-on Salesforce development experience, including Apex, Lightning Web Components (LWC), and Flow orchestration.
- Deep experience with REST/SOAP APIs, including authentication flows (OAuth2.0, JWT, Named Credentials).
- Strong understanding of asynchronous processing patterns (Platform Events, Change Data Capture, Batch Apex, etc).
- Direct, hands-on experience integrating Salesforce with SAP S/4HANA or equivalent ERP systems.
- Proven experience integrating Salesforce with data/analytics tools such as Snowflake and Tableau.
- Proven experience integrating Salesforce with cloud infrastructure like AWS and Google Cloud.
- Proven experience with security and identity tools such as Okta, Jira, and Slack.
