About the role

Learning Experience Designer at NBS Northern Business School enhancing study offerings through digital transformation. Collaborating with educators to improve student experiences using innovative learning tools.

Responsibilities

You structure and design the revision and development of our study programs to continuously improve the learning experience for our students.
You design and implement learning content both technically and in terms of media — using AI tools such as Area9.
You support and advise our teaching staff in the further digitalization of their teaching, for example in hybrid or flipped-classroom scenarios, and assist with the use of learning management systems such as Moodle.
You contribute operationally to quality assurance measures in teaching and studies as well as to internal projects in the context of our system accreditation.
You are the driving force behind the digital transformation of our growing university — initiating new ideas, promoting innovation and actively driving change.
You actively participate in the development of new, innovative NBS products — from microcredentials and certificate courses to degree programs — and contribute your didactic and technological expertise to these processes.
You take independent responsibility for small projects and work closely with various stakeholders within the university.

A university degree and several years of professionally relevant experience.
Experience designing competency-based higher education and creating multimedia learning content using AI tools.
Proven experience leading your own projects and taking responsibility.
Confident demeanor when collaborating with professors from various disciplines and a thorough understanding of the structures of the German higher-education system.
Extensive experience with learning management systems, particularly Moodle.
Strong media-didactic and instructional design skills and the ability to advise teaching staff professionally and purposefully.
A structured, team-oriented and communicative way of working, openness to new developments and a willingness to take responsibility.
Excellent written and spoken German and English.
