About the role

(Senior) Manager Cyber Security role focusing on Defensive Security & Threat Protection at Wavestone. Lead projects and guide customers in IT security and defense strategies.

Responsibilities

Responsible for leadership and design tasks related to the technical aspects of cyber security.
Advising clients on IT security and its technical implementation.
Analyzing and developing security concepts and strategies to protect against cyber attacks.
Responsible for best practices, standards and measures, as well as training on IT security procedures.
Taking on qualitative and quantitative project-, topic- and company-level responsibility in the context of cyber security.
Planning and implementing holistic IT security architectures and measures.
Supporting and conducting cyber security assessments and awareness campaigns.

Relevant consulting experience with a focus on cyber security, with an emphasis on cyber defence.
Knowledge of common products (e.g., Splunk, QRadar) and experience with processes around SOC, SIEM, SOAR, Threat Intelligence and related topics.
Prior leadership responsibility as well as business/entrepreneurial accountability.
Strong sales and presales skills for consulting services, ideally with proven success in client acquisition.
Enthusiasm for growing a team and strengthening market positioning.
Communication is your strength: you express yourself confidently in German and English, both verbally and in writing.
University degree or equivalent qualification, ideally complemented by additional certifications.
