About the role
- Senior Consultant for SAP MM / Procurement at Wavestone contributing to digital transformation projects. Lead project cycles and engage actively in team portfolio development in Germany.
Responsibilities
- Advise and support clients in digitizing their procurement processes based on SAP S/4HANA Sourcing & Procurement.
- Lead subprojects to migrate existing systems to a new S/4HANA environment.
- Manage the full project lifecycle: from fit-to-standard analysis through customizing & testing to the rollout of the new system.
- Actively contribute to the ongoing development of the team's portfolio.
- Help position consulting services, identify opportunities, and pursue them with support from your coach.
- Ongoing preparation for the career path to Manager.
Requirements
- Several years of consulting experience in S/4HANA transformation projects in procurement.
- Familiarity with the SAP MM module and Sourcing & Procurement.
- Strong understanding of integrated processes.
- Strong analytical and conceptual skills.
- Ability to translate business requirements into solutions.
- Proactive initiative to help shape the team's growth.
- Knowledge of other S/4HANA core modules is a plus.
- Interest in the full SAP Procurement portfolio (SAP Ariba, SAP Direct Materials Sourcing, SAP BTP, etc.).
- University degree or equivalent qualification.
- Fluent German and English language skills.
- Willingness to travel for work — but not necessarily every week.
