Business Application Developer creating and customizing application solutions for water resource management. Analyze customer needs and develop software to optimize operational efficiency.
Responsibilities
Work within an Agile Framework to develop and implement Appian and .Net web‐based applications.
Create various document artifacts including design/technical approach documents, sequence diagrams, installation instructions, UML diagrams, etc.
Build critical Appian based applications as well as associated integration components in C#/C++.
Provide technical guidance to mid‐level developers as and when required.
Participate in customer and team meetings to support various program tasks including design review, status updates, technical roadmap, production troubleshooting and remediation.
Work within the ITB DevOps release process to ensure completion of key tasks including deployment, code baseline and merge, version control, automated testing.
Work throughout the entire software development and project life cycle (requirements discovery, technical design/innovation, development, deployment, and maintenance) Develop BPM specifications to integrate with legacy applications leveraging web services, messaging and enterprise service bus.
Perform work individually, as a part of the Application Systems development team and as part of an agile project team.
Contribute toward developing solution guidelines, standards, and best practices.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree (or higher) from an accredited college or university in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field and two (2) years related work experience OR Associates degree from an accredited college or university and four (4) years related work experience OR High School Diploma or equivalent and six (6) years related work experience.
