About the role

• Software Engineer contributing to Java application development for an iGaming solutions company. Collaborating across teams to ensure stable and reliable integration solutions within the platform.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with product owners, designers, and other developers to understand project requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
• Design and develop high-quality, scalable, and maintainable Java applications.
• Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code following industry best practices and coding standards.
• Perform unit testing and debugging to ensure the reliability and performance of software applications.
• Continuously identify areas for improvement and implement solutions to enhance software functionality and performance.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and technologies in Java development and incorporate them into our projects as appropriate.
• Participate in code reviews, knowledge sharing sessions, and other team activities to foster collaboration and learning.
• Provide technical support and assistance to other team members as needed.

Requirements

• Senior level: 5+ years of proven experience as a Java Developer, with a strong understanding of OOP principles.
• Mid level: 3+ years of proven experience as a Java Developer, with a strong understanding of OOP principles.
• Proficiency in Java programming language and related technologies (e.g., Spring Framework, Hibernate, Maven).
• Experience working with RESTful applications and Microservices.
• Familiarity with agile methodologies.
• Familiarity with database technologies (SQL, MongoDB, Redis) and experience with database design and optimization.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex issues independently.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment.
• Self-motivated with a strong sense of ownership and accountability for deliverables.
• Nice to have: Experience in the iGaming industry
• Experience with cloud platforms (Google Cloud, Azure)
• Experience with containers (Docker, Kubernetes)
