- Sr Director, Legal overseeing trademark and copyright issues for Warner Bros. Discovery in EMEA. Leading legal guidance and managing relationships with stakeholders and external counsel.
Responsibilities
- Provide strategic legal guidance on trademark selection, use, clearance, prosecution, and global portfolio management
- Lead and manage global trademark and copyright disputes, oppositions, cancellations, and infringements
- Provide subject-matter expertise on trademark and copyright litigation matters
- Advise on a variety of international production and marketing related clearance issues
- Manage IP Policy issues for EMEA region
- Oversee relationship with relevant trade associations on IP Policy issues for EMEA region
Requirements
- UK qualified Solicitor or Barrister with strong experience in the practice of IP law (trademark, brand protection, copyright and related matters)
- Knowledge of IP policy issues facing media and entertainment industry
- Extensive experience counseling clients at all levels, and proven ability to become a trusted advisor regarding IP issues
