About the role
- Strategic Sourcing Specialist managing Production & Content Supply Chain initiatives for Warner Bros. Discovery. Leading procurement projects, market analysis, and supplier management in a hybrid work environment.
Responsibilities
- supports category strategy development and associated initiatives for all Production & Content Supply Chain subcategories
- responsible for leading and supporting Production & Content Supply Chain procurement projects
- developing complex analysis within WBD Procurement
- conducts analysis of market conditions to proactively manage changes in the marketplace
- obtains relevant information for developing new commodity strategies
- partners with Supplier Diversity efforts to include MWBE in supplier selection process
- develops and conducts negotiations strategies to maximize value
Requirements
- 2-3 years strategy, operations and sourcing experience in a sophisticated sourcing environment
- demonstrated stakeholder and vendor management experience
- experience in the Media & Entertainment industry with exposure to film, television, and live production is strongly preferred
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business Management or a technical major is required
- Professional accreditation in sourcing / procurement preferred
- Advanced Excel skills required
