About the role
- Part-time Project Manager responsible for IT deployment and cloud migration projects with team coordination. Ensure project delivery on time, within budget, and scope in a hybrid work environment.
Responsibilities
- Maintaining and monitoring project plans, schedules, hours, budgets and expenses.
- Vendor communication and assignments.
- Setting up budgeting alerts and maintaining set budget for projects
- Coordinating with team members to make sure that all parties are on track with project requirements, deadlines, and schedules.
- Meeting with project team members to identify and resolve issues.
- Submitting project deliverables and ensuring that they adhere to quality standards.
- Establishing effective project communication plans and ensuring their execution.
- Facilitating scope change & risk identification to ensure that all parties are informed of the impacts on schedule and budget.
- Coordinating the development of user manuals, training materials and other documents, as needed, to enable successful implementation and turnover of the process or system to the clients.
- Conducting post project evaluation and identifying successful and unsuccessful project elements.
Requirements
- **3+ years** of industry experience managing IT deployment projects and managing teams.
- **2+ years **of experience managing cloud migration projects
- Previous experience working in project management or project lead role within the professional services industry
- Experience delivering on multiple projects at a time
- Strong time management skills
- Perform job duties with a sense of urgency
- Experience in process modeling, documenting business requirements, and documenting workflows
- Experience with project management software, preferably **JIRA**
- Deals well with ambiguous or undefined problems
- Ability to think abstractly and guide others
- PMP certification preferred
