About the role
- Software Engineer responsible for coding and testing high performance applications for Walmart's international customers. Collaborating with stakeholders to build software that meets customer needs in supply chain management.
Responsibilities
- Responsible for coding, unit testing, building high performance and scalable applications that meet the needs of millions of Walmart-International customers
- Communicate and collaborate with Stakeholders to understand requirements and translate into Technical Stories and designs
- Experience of working with large scale distributed systems, including scalability, disaster recovery and fault tolerance
- Expertise in tools such as Jenkins/Ansible/Python scripting etc
- Strong knowledge on CICD Pipeline, GIT, AWS/Azure as Paas service
- Demonstrated knowledge of Configuration Management and Deployment tools automation
- Strong Experience with networking concepts and protocols (HTTP, HTTPS, Telnet, SSH, Firewall, VPN, Routing and Load Balancing)
- Strong Experience with Linux
- Experience with Monitoring solutions like Prometheus, Grafana, Products like ELK/Splunk etc
- Experience of working with large scale systems
- Experience with containers and orchestration technologies like Docker, Kubernetes
- Experience on Service Mesh like Istio, etc. would be added Advantage
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related technical field
- Minimum 6+ years of programming experience in Python
- 3+ years of experience working with Microservices, and Distributed systems
- 3+ years of experience in Coding in Python/Go scripting and experience in Kubernetes/Docker/AWS/Azure as Paas service
- Knowledge with Rest API, Message Brokers like Apache Kakfa and NoSQL Databases like Apache Cassandra
- Exposure to multiple Tech stacks.
