About the role

  • SAP Specialist managing the accounting of occupational pensions at VRG GmbH. Responsibilities include data management and compliance monitoring within SAP systems.

Responsibilities

  • Processing and monitoring of occupational pension (bAV) accounting in SAP, including all relevant systems and interfaces.
  • Data maintenance and management in the SAP system, particularly regarding bAV contracts, pension schemes, and employee information.
  • Preparation of payrolls and reports for occupational pensions for our clients.
  • Monitoring and ensuring compliance with statutory regulations and internal policies related to occupational pensions and their accounting.
  • Responding to queries and handling client requests regarding bAV accounting.
  • Participation in annual closing tasks (especially concerning expert reports and account statements).
  • Optimizing and automating processes to increase efficiency and reduce errors in bAV accounting.

Requirements

  • Completed commercial training or a comparable degree, ideally with experience in HR or insurance.
  • Experience with SAP is an advantage.
  • Solid knowledge of occupational pensions (bAV) and their accounting is an advantage.
  • Analytical skills and a structured, independent way of working.
  • Strong numerical affinity and precise working style.
  • Team player with strong communication skills and a high level of service orientation when dealing with internal and external contacts.
