About the role

  • Werkstudent supporting the full software development cycle in Cyber Security at Volkswagen. Automating security checks in DevSecOps with modern tools in an agile team.

Responsibilities

  • Contribute to the development and maintenance of security tooling in a DevSecOps environment
  • Support the automation of security checks in CI/CD pipelines
  • Help shape and continuously improve processes and methods for secure software development

Requirements

  • Enrolled in a degree program in IT security, computer science, or a related field
  • Initial experience with scripting (e.g. Python, Bash) on Linux
  • Basic programming knowledge
  • Practical experience with Git and CI/CD environments (e.g. GitHub) is a plus
  • Basic knowledge of cyber security, container technologies, and cloud environments
  • Independent, structured working style and interest in modern security approaches
