About the role

  • Safety Training Specialist managing training programs for compliance with regulations. Supporting leadership in training practices whilst collaborating with multiple departments.

Responsibilities

  • Represent the Coordination and Management to business areas, national and international authorities, audits and inspections, ensuring compliance and excellence in the Company's training practices
  • Support leadership in managing Training Programs for employees and third parties, in accordance with applicable legislation and requirements in Brazil and other countries where GOL operates
  • Develop Training Programs required by national and international regulatory bodies, ensuring legal compliance, applicable recertifications and Operational Safety
  • Prepare and review Risk Management Reports (RGRs) and support their validation with QCs and the safety department
  • Develop, review and maintain policies, procedures and training content, ensuring standardization, compliance and continuous updates
  • Perform governance, technical and regulatory control and compliance of Training Programs throughout their entire lifecycle
  • Work together with Quality Control (QC) in hooking audits, inspections, operational visits, monitoring and Continuous Improvement Programs
  • Analyze and validate external training, verifying equivalencies with GOL courses, aiming for operational efficiency
  • Develop and validate content, instructional materials, reaction and learning assessments
  • Analyze and validate contractual clauses related to the technical scope of training, ensuring legal compliance
  • Perform technical and regulatory analysis of the Training Needs Assessment (LNT), ensuring adherence to regulations and optimization of resources
  • Act in a consultative manner with business areas, providing technical support for decisions related to training and operational compliance
  • Ensure internal and external validation of regulatory documents with business areas, academy and regulatory bodies
  • Prepare, control and execute Corrective Action Plans arising from internal and external audits
  • Implement and sustain Safety Objectives and performance indicators (SPIs/SPTs)
  • Manage risks, identify and report hazards, ensuring operations comply with regulations, Company standards and certificates issued by authorities.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree completed (diploma or graduation certificate)
  • Complete training as an Occupational Safety Technician
  • Active professional registration with the Ministry of Labor and Employment
  • Experience with Occupational Safety Training
  • Intermediate Office Suite skills
  • Intermediate/advanced English
  • Be an Occupational Safety Engineer with experience (optional)
  • Instructional Designer certification (optional)
  • Knowledge of Spanish (optional)
