About the role

• Senior Project Manager at Vizient managing cross-functional teams for complex, enterprise-level initiatives. Ensures consistency, quality, and timely execution across multiple projects and products.

Responsibilities

• Lead and influence project participants, mentoring others to strengthen collaboration skills and drive effective team engagement.
• Independently execute complex projects involving multiple products, facilities, stakeholders, and/or source systems.
• Develop, manage, and enhance project management operations, tools, processes, and documentation.
• Ensure project plans are maintained and accurate for internal corporate goals and reporting.
• Communicate project expectations, progress updates, and potential risks with internal and external stakeholders, including leadership, while providing clear recommendations and resolution strategies.
• Forecast resource allocation across multiple projects and/or programs.
• Provide project management leadership to cross-functional teams and drive projects to successful completion.
• Serve as an expert resource in project management and implementation for enterprise-wide initiatives.
• Communicate internally with cross-functional teams to facilitate strategy and implementation while also externally with customers to develop a strategic approach and identify potential barriers, while maintaining a level of confidentiality to maximize customer value.
• Ensure successful onboarding of customers to Vizient analytic products by coordinating internal workflows related to data setup, system access, user training, data validation, and production loads.
• Regular updates to clients and account management teams related to project pipeline, implementation progress to completion, and potential barriers.
• Build long-standing customer and executive relationships to support complex project execution and client retention.
• Facilitate project meetings, maintain project tracking reports, and ensure project completion within standard SLAs.

Requirements

• Relevant degree preferred.
• 5 or more years of experience managing complex projects.
• Extensive knowledge of Microsoft 365 applications, including Project, Visio, Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
• Familiarity with standard project management concepts, practices, and procedures preferred.
• Experience with Kantata is a plus.
• Experience with AI / ChatGPT is preferred.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks independently or as part of a cross-functional team.
