About the role

  • Cloud Architect responsible for installation, operation, and maintenance of products on cloud infrastructures. Supporting development and management teams to enhance E-Health solutions in Germany.

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for the installation, operation, and maintenance of products on Kubernetes and cloud infrastructures
  • Automating and standardizing operational environments (IaaS, PaaS, Infrastructure as Code)
  • Supporting business units (product development or procurement/tender management) by providing advice, designing, planning, and sizing solutions
  • Supporting partner companies in independently operating the product
  • Improving technical documentation and maintaining close communication with partners to ensure effective collaboration
  • Monitoring AWS environment costs and identifying potential cost savings
  • Ensuring information security and compliance according to ISMS processes

Requirements

  • Several years of relevant professional experience
  • Ideally a degree in Computer Science, Medical Informatics, or an equivalent qualification
  • Proficiency with the core technology stack (Kubernetes, Terraform, Ansible, Helm, Git, Jenkins, VMware)
  • Experience with database systems (PostgreSQL, etc.)
  • Extensive knowledge and hands-on experience in building, operating, and maintaining Kubernetes environments (cluster management)
  • Extensive knowledge of containerization
  • Strong Linux skills (particularly CentOS/RedHat and Ubuntu/Debian)
  • Ability to clearly document complex technical topics
  • Reliable, structured, and results-oriented work style; enjoys working in a team
  • Values openness, honesty, trust, and reliability
