About the role

• Software Architect developing modern ERP solutions with Microsoft Business Central at Axians. Collaborating with product management and designing stable, maintainable architecture.

Responsibilities

• Develop modern ERP solutions based on Microsoft Business Central
• Work closely with product management
• Evaluate requirements and find the balance between rapid feature delivery and a clean codebase
• Think in terms of data models and processes
• Support the entire lifecycle: from concept through refactoring to quality assurance
• Document and assist in implementing architectural standards
• Actively contribute in the Scrum team and make technical decisions

Requirements

• Degree in IT, training as an IT specialist (Fachinformatiker) or equivalent qualification
• Experience designing complex systems
• Solid programming skills — ideally with Microsoft Business Central, ERP logic, and relational databases
• Ability to structure complex requirements
• Open communication within the team
• Confident communication in German and English — both in verbal exchanges and documentation
