About the role

  • Manage customer portfolio in Portugal focusing on Human Nutrition in various sectors. Develop strategic products and conduct market analysis while aligning with EU Nutrition goals.

Responsibilities

  • Manage the customer portfolio in Portugal within the Human Nutrition segment.
  • Assuring BGT (volume and profit) as well as finding potential customers.
  • Portugal's key accounts management mainly in different sectors, such as Bakery, Dairy, Meat and Nutraceuticals sectors.
  • Meet annual BGT and development of strategic products.
  • Customer project management.
  • Maintain and develop new customer portfolio.
  • Conduct market analysis with existing and potential customers.
  • Perform customer portfolio analysis to identify opportunities and risks.
  • Support Product Managers to move obsolete inventory.
  • Reports to the Segment Human Nutrition Manager, providing updates on customer portfolio analysis, growth potential, and project progress.
  • Be aligned with EU Nutrition strategy and goals.

Requirements

  • Degree in Food Technology, Food or Chemical Engineering, or a related field.
  • Knowledge of Food Safety systems (Quality and Food Safety Management), food safety culture, fraud prevention, and food defense.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in the Portuguese food industry.
  • Languages: Portuguese (native), English (mandatory), Spanish (preferred).
  • Strong problem-solving skills, proactive, team-oriented, and goal-driven.
  • Experience with SAP, Salesforce, and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
