About the role
- Junior Analyst executing tax obligations and compliance tasks at Vibra, one of Brazil's largest companies. Involves ICMS, IPI analysis, and SAP documentation handling.
Responsibilities
- Analysis of ICMS, ICMS-ST, Fundo de Pobreza (Poverty Fund), IPI, tax incentives and other general tax matters, including ISSQN and federal withholdings
- Manual issuance of fiscal documents in SAP
- Monitoring recipient manifestations and the company's inbound and outbound transactions
- Validation of service invoices and non-fiscal documents
- Knowledge of goods admission processes in the Manaus Free Trade Zone (PIN, SUFRAMA, customs clearances)
- Support for system development for inbound and outbound processes
- Contribute to responses for tax inspections/audits
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting
- Strong ability to interpret tax legislation and apply it to different operational scenarios
- Intermediate/advanced Excel and PowerPoint and familiarity with new technologies
- Knowledge of SAP
- Preferred: experience with Power BI and VBA
