About the role

Responsibilities
- Independently perform structural calculations for piping and equipment supports (SIA, Eurocode)
- Develop detailed structural design solutions
- Design structural frameworks in 3D models
- Piping structural analysis and planning (EN, ASME)
- Design of special pipe supports using FEM
- Improve processes and procedures
- Serve as the technical point of contact for junior colleagues, including quality assurance
- Technical coordination within projects
- Contribute to the preparation of tender documents, project cost estimates, and project acceptance
- Act as deputy to the department head
Requirements
- Degree (Dipl.-Ing., Bachelor or Master) in Civil Engineering or equivalent qualification
- Minimum 7 years' professional experience in structural steel design/project planning
- Experience in the chemical, pharmaceutical, or biotech industries is an advantage
- Strong understanding of force flows and structural behavior
- Familiarity with structural analysis software is advantageous, ideally Dlubal RFEM and Rohr2
- CAD skills and BIM experience are advantageous (e.g., Tekla Structures, Tricad MS, E3D, AutoCAD Plant 3D, Revit)
- Fluent German and English, spoken and written
