About the role
- (Senior) Software Engineer needed for GovTech startup in Hamburg. Focused on end-to-end development using Vue3, Nest.js, and MongoDB.
Responsibilities
- End-to-end implementation of features for our products based on Vue3, Nest.js and MongoDB
- Independently design and implement product components in close collaboration with our public sector clients
- Create requirement profiles to design architectures and data models that optimally represent functional requirements
- Build MVPs and prototypes for client presentations
- Develop, document, and enforce standards for our growing codebase
- Take technical ownership of a segment of our product portfolio and actively contribute ideas for its further development
Requirements
- You are a product-minded full-stack engineer capable of delivering features end-to-end
- Excellent communication and presentation skills in German and English
- Strong expertise in Vue3, with experience in MongoDB and Nest.js
- Nice-to-have: knowledge of Figma, software testing, software architecture, GitHub Actions, DevOps, Kubernetes, Docker, or public administration processes
- Several years of professional experience in software development
- A strong intrinsic motivation to contribute to the digitalization of public administration
- Relevant degree or vocational qualification with strong credentials, or several years of relevant professional experience
