About the role
- DevOps Engineer at Versana managing cloud infrastructure and improving DevOps practices for real-time loan data platform. Collaborating with cross-functional teams on application modernization and optimization.
Responsibilities
- Facilitate application modernization through DevOps practices and CI/CD toolchain implementation.
- Continually optimize systems and workflows by improving architecture, infrastructure, automation, CI/CD, and observability.
- Collaborate with developers to ensure applications are designed with DevOps best practices in mind.
- Develop, maintain, and troubleshoot Azure cloud infrastructure across the entire stack including network, application, and database layers.
- Maintain and enhance disaster recovery strategies and backup procedures to ensure business continuity.
- Participate in weekend release rotation and on-call rotation for production support.
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience with containerization and orchestration technologies like Docker and Kubernetes.
- 3+ years of experience in design, develop, test, and management of CI/CD pipelines (e.g. Azure DevOps, Gitlab CI/CD, Github Actions, Jenkins, etc).
- 3+ years of experience with scripting languages like Python, Bash, Powershell, etc.
- 3+ years of work experience with Public Cloud (Azure, AWS or GCP).
- 2+ years of experience in Infrastructure-as-code using Terraform.
- Familiarity with messaging services like Kafka or Azure Eventhubs.
- Experience with monitoring, logging and tracing services (DataDog, Prometheus, Grafana, Splunk, ELK, etc).
- Hands-on experience with build frameworks like Gradle, Maven, NPM.
- Experience with Linux operating system.
- Ability to partner with multi-functional teams and pivot quickly.
- Strong communication, analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Curiosity and motivation to learn.
