About the role
- Head of Cryptology Department at G+D ensuring the strategic planning of cryptology initiatives. Leading a motivated team in developing secure cryptographic algorithms for various applications.
Responsibilities
- Verantwortung für die strategische Planung der Kryptologieabteilung
- Proaktive Geschäftsfeldentwicklung in enger Abstimmung mit den Business-Anforderungen der Divisionen
- Entwicklung und Umsetzung von Strategien für neue Themenfelder und Innovationen im Bereich Kryptologie
- Verantwortung für die Entwicklung sicherer Kryptoalgorithmen für ressourcenschwache Systeme (z. B. Smartcards) in unterschiedlichen Anwendungsbereichen
- Einsatz von State-of-the-Art-Technologien und modernen Entwicklungsframeworks
- Führung und Weiterentwicklung eines erfahrenen und motivierten Teams
- Steuerung der Projekte im Bereich Kryptologie
- Erstellung von Entscheidungsvorlagen für das Management
- Sicherstellung einer effektiven Zusammenarbeit und Kommunikation mit allen Divisionen, internationalen Stakeholdern und anderen Fachabteilungen
- Enge Zusammenarbeit mit externen Partnern und Forschungsinstitutionen
Requirements
- Abgeschlossenes Studium der Mathematik, Informatik, Ingenieurwissenschaften oder eine vergleichbare Qualifikation
- Mehrjährige Erfahrung im Bereich Secure Embedded Cryptography (mindestens 10 Jahre)
- Fundierte Kenntnisse in Testmethoden zur Seitenkanal- und Fault-Injection-Resistenz
- Umfangreiche Erfahrung mit agilen Arbeitsmethoden wie Scrum sowie mit CI/CD-Strategien und modernen CI/CD-Tools (Gitlab, Jenkins, Bitbucket) im Embedded-Umfeld
- Mehrjährige Erfahrung im Umgang mit aktuellen und zukünftigen Embedded-Hardware-Plattformen (ARM, RISC-V, Intel)
- Führungserfahrung, inklusive technischer Führung, insbesondere im Coaching von Junior Engineers und Studierenden
- Projektmanagementerfahrung
- Strukturierte und lösungsorientierte Arbeitsweise
- Ausgeprägte kommunikative Fähigkeiten und Erfahrung in zielgruppengerechter Kommunikation, inkl. Top-Management
- Sehr gute Deutsch- und Englischkenntnisse in Wort und Schrift
