About the role
- Machine Learning Engineer developing and deploying scalable machine learning systems for advertising solutions at Globo. Collaborating with diverse data teams to enhance data-driven decision making.
Responsibilities
- Develop, deploy and continuously evolve scalable Machine Learning systems for various applications within Advertising;
- Monitor and maintain model performance in production environments;
- Automate data workflows and cross-reference datasets for internal consumption as well as delivery to client areas;
- Work with large volumes of structured and unstructured data.
Requirements
- More than 1 year of experience in Machine Learning Engineering;
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Statistics, Mathematics or related fields;
- Proactive, creative and flexible profile;
- Good interpersonal communication skills;
- Ability to work collaboratively in multidisciplinary teams.
- Programming languages: Python and SQL;
- Cloud tools, especially GCP (Google Cloud Platform);
- Development of data pipelines in cloud environments;
- Implementation of monitoring tools in ML pipelines;
- Parallel processing frameworks (primarily Apache Spark);
- Pipeline orchestration tools, mainly Airflow;
- Version control (Git) and agile methodologies.
- Basic knowledge of DevOps practices;
- Basic familiarity with containerization.
