About the role
- Frontend Developer responsible for website maintenance and evolution using modern technologies in Veepee's sales team. Collaborating in an agile environment to develop scalable front-end solutions.
Responsibilities
- Work on challenging projects to build a new platform using modern technologies such as ReactJS, Redux, react-router, Server-Side Rendering, Node.js, Webpack 2, etc.
- Estimate development tasks, identifying risks, required provisions, and process constraints.
- Conduct regular code reviews with the team.
- Participate in merge requests and review peers' contributions.
- Work with an agile mindset and MVP approaches that accommodate future business requirements.
- Develop front-end solutions that scale and can be integrated into a micro front-end ecosystem.
- Conduct technical interviews with developers applying to join VeepeeTech.
Requirements
- 4+ years of experience in web development.
- Proficiency in JavaScript and frameworks/technologies such as React, Redux, Next.js, Webpack, etc.
- Experience with RESTful principles and APIs.
- Experience building applications within a microservices architecture.
- Knowledge of Node.js and the Express framework.
- Experience with Server-Side Rendering using React and react-router.
- Familiarity with testing tools such as Jest, Enzyme, Mocha, and Chai.
- Proactive and dynamic mindset, motivated to grow within the tech team.
- Fluent in English.
