Field Service Engineer performing maintenance and repair of Valmet analyzers at customer sites. Providing preventive and predictive maintenance along with customer training and support.
Responsibilities
Ensure peak performance of Valmet’s process analyzers at customer sites.
Daily customer meetings to determine the scope of what is needed and follow up on work that has been performed.
Constant customer training and interactions with operations to be sure equipment is performing and being utilized as expected.
Perform sensor correlations.
Perform preventive and remedial maintenance and fault finding as needed, including daily cleaning and performance checks.
Provide emergency, remote, phone and internet support to customers.
Generate quality reports.
Requirements
A bachelor’s or associate's degree in electrical, Electronic, Instrumentation, Mechatronics, Chemical or Paper engineering with relevant experience.
Instrumentation and controls background.
Have a good understanding of paper making processes.
Good working knowledge of Windows and networking, knowledge of Word and Excel.
Good interpersonal skills. Our employees interact with confidence within all organizational levels.
The ability to use tools appropriately and in a safe manner.
Be able to lift up to 30lbs
Strong fault-finding skills and a paying attention to detail.
The ability to self-manage time and work with little to no supervision.
