About the role
- Accountant role in a growing global accounts team based in Windsor. Assisting the Senior Financial Controller with various tasks in finance lifecycle.
Responsibilities
- Maintain accurate financial records and ledgers
- Process invoices, receipts, and payments
- Manage credit cards
- Reconcile bank statements and company accounts
- Support month-end and year-end close processes
- Prepare VAT returns
- Monitor accounts payable and receivable
- Assist in payroll processing
- Management of asset registers
- Support and assist with year-end financial audit queries
- Assist in compiling regulatory returns
- Adhere to Financial Conduct Authority Rules and Regulations
- Adhere to all internal policies and procedures
Requirements
- Proven experience in a bookkeeping or similar finance role
- Relevant undergraduate degree
- Relevant qualifications (e.g. AAT, bookkeeping certification, Part qualified ACCA, CIMA,ACA)
- Excellent written and verbal presentation skills with an extremely high attention to detail.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
- Time management/ability to perform under pressure with tight deadlines.
- Strong organizational, numerical, and analytical skills.
