About the role

  • Financial Analyst responsible for budgeting, financial modeling, and reporting for Valgroup. Engaging with management to provide analytical support for decision-making and process improvement.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare budgets for the group's companies (Budget, CapEx, Forecast, etc.)
  • Prepare monthly reports and analyses of actual vs. budget for management results
  • Manage the month-end close and monitor the Company's corporate expenses
  • Perform economic and financial feasibility analyses for projects
  • Provide support and act as liaison on financial matters with business units, identifying and supporting the capture of opportunities
  • Prepare management presentations, dashboards, and KPIs
  • Support improvement projects and restructuring of internal processes
  • Consolidate monthly results
  • Explain the company's main result line items
  • Guide and assist other Analysts (Junior and Mid-level/Pleno) on the team
  • Provide support to the Coordinator and Manager with required information

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Accounting, Tax, Economics, or related fields
  • Advanced knowledge of financial concepts/financial modeling and accounting (Income Statement, balance sheet, and cash flow)
  • Knowledge of cost structures and financial services
  • Advanced Excel
  • Advanced Power BI
  • Ability to synthesize information and prepare executive-level materials
  • Flexibility to work in a hybrid model in Lorena, SP
