About the role

  • Tax Specialist supporting the US Tax Team at a vacation rental company. Must be fluent in English and proficient with Excel, working in a hybrid environment in Chile.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare and file hospitality, lodging and transient tax occupancy returns
  • Analyze and resolve tax notices
  • Follow filing procedures and internal controls
  • Assist with other administrative and tax responsibilities & projects
  • Perform other duties, as needed

Requirements

  • Fluently in English (Excluyente)
  • Proficient Excel
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting/Finance (preferred) or equivalent work experience
  • Highly organized and thorough
  • Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
  • Basic knowledge of Office and Google apps for business
  • Flexibility and responsiveness to change
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced deadline driven environment
