About the role
- Senior Controller managing financial planning, forecasts, and reporting for a leading digital agency in Germany. Collaborating with various departments to provide insights and analyses.
Responsibilities
- You are responsible for the operational and strategic management of planning, forecasting, and reporting processes
- You prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual analyses, including variance analyses and concrete recommendations for action
- You continuously develop our controlling tools, KPI systems, and reporting structures
- You analyze projects, cost and profit centers, as well as agency-specific performance metrics
- You work closely with management, finance, HR, and business units, advising them on financial matters
- You support ad-hoc analyses, business cases, and decision-making for strategic topics
Requirements
- A degree in business administration, finance, controlling, or a comparable qualification
- Several years of experience in controlling, ideally in an agency, project, or service environment
- Strong numerical aptitude and well-developed analytical and conceptual skills
- Confident handling of Excel and common controlling, ERP, or BI systems
- A structured, self-reliant way of working and a high level of accuracy
- Strong communication and advisory skills, and very good German and English language skills
