About the role
- Consultant in Cyber Security advising clients on strategy implementation and transformational projects. Collaborating with teams to enhance security in digital futures at UNITY Consulting.
Responsibilities
- Together with our teams, you advise clients on the development, implementation and rollout of appropriate cyber security strategies.
- You support transformation efforts and thereby contribute to sustainable and viable security programs.
- Develop, together with our consulting teams, roadmaps and concepts for enterprise and mid-market clients to optimize their security — aligned with business objectives, regulatory requirements and market conditions.
- Support gap analyses, assess maturity levels and create tailored cyber security strategies based on the results.
- Create engaging training modules and interactive exercise environments.
- Help ensure cyber strategies are embedded across the organization.
- Design management systems for a risk-based security organization to effectively protect against cyber threats.
- Work closely with clients and their service providers, share your know‑how in trainings and presentations as well as internally, and further develop our client relationships.
- Lead and take responsibility for complex projects to introduce and optimize cyber security initiatives.
Requirements
- (Junior: initial) experience with cyber security projects, plus insight into project, process, transformation management and architecture management.
- Strong affinity for technology, with initial exposure to AI and its potential applications in a consulting context.
- Basic commercial knowledge of fundamental business concepts in projects and organizations.
- Knowledge of or experience with standards and frameworks (e.g., NIS-2, DORA or KRITIS).
- Strong communication and presentation skills in German (C1) and English (B2).
- Successfully completed degree with above-average results in (business) informatics/computer science or another technical or business-focused discipline.
- Analytical skills, initiative and strong implementation capability.
- Curiosity, motivation and entrepreneurial spirit to independently drive topics forward.
