About the role

• Controller leading financial operations at Unico Skill, ensuring governance and efficiency in a dynamic environment.

Responsibilities

• Ensure financial accuracy, tax compliance and timely accounting close;
• Manage cash flow, income statement (DRE), financial projections and financial KPIs;
• Coordinate all tax and accounting routines, ensuring compliance with applicable municipal, state and federal regulations;
• Oversee internal and external audits, ensuring compliance and risk mitigation;
• Manage monthly, quarterly and annual accounting and tax closings;
• Lead billing, revenue policies, collections and delinquency control;
• Design and optimize accounts payable, accounts receivable and procurement processes;
• Develop purchasing policies, vendor onboarding/approval, contract negotiation and inventory control;
• Implement ERP systems, integrating platforms and standardizing processes;
• Lead and develop the finance team and support the company's strategic decisions;
• Ensure monthly close: account reconciliations, clearing outstanding items and journal entries;
• Prepare and deliver reports, KPIs and variance analysis/explanations;
• Monitor, evaluate and drive continuous improvements in financial processes.

Requirements

• Preferably a degree in Accounting with active CRC registration (Regional Accounting Council);
• Solid experience in end-to-end financial management;
• Strong experience in accounts payable and accounts receivable processes;
• Strong knowledge of tax, accounting, revenue management and controllership;
• Experience managing people and leading multidisciplinary teams;
• Experience implementing ERPs;
• Analytical, organized, resilient and hands-on profile;
• Strong negotiation and communication skills;
• Flexible profile with the ability to adapt to change and adversity.
