About the role
- Controller leading financial operations at Unico Skill, ensuring governance and efficiency in a dynamic environment.
Responsibilities
- Ensure financial accuracy, tax compliance and timely accounting close;
- Manage cash flow, income statement (DRE), financial projections and financial KPIs;
- Coordinate all tax and accounting routines, ensuring compliance with applicable municipal, state and federal regulations;
- Oversee internal and external audits, ensuring compliance and risk mitigation;
- Manage monthly, quarterly and annual accounting and tax closings;
- Lead billing, revenue policies, collections and delinquency control;
- Design and optimize accounts payable, accounts receivable and procurement processes;
- Develop purchasing policies, vendor onboarding/approval, contract negotiation and inventory control;
- Implement ERP systems, integrating platforms and standardizing processes;
- Lead and develop the finance team and support the company's strategic decisions;
- Ensure monthly close: account reconciliations, clearing outstanding items and journal entries;
- Prepare and deliver reports, KPIs and variance analysis/explanations;
- Monitor, evaluate and drive continuous improvements in financial processes.
Requirements
- Preferably a degree in Accounting with active CRC registration (Regional Accounting Council);
- Solid experience in end-to-end financial management;
- Strong experience in accounts payable and accounts receivable processes;
- Strong knowledge of tax, accounting, revenue management and controllership;
- Experience managing people and leading multidisciplinary teams;
- Experience implementing ERPs;
- Analytical, organized, resilient and hands-on profile;
- Strong negotiation and communication skills;
- Flexible profile with the ability to adapt to change and adversity.
