About the role

• Product Design Lead for Una Health, focusing on designing digital metabolic care solutions. Collaborating with teams to create human-centered experiences that impact healthcare outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end product design — from discovery and user research through prototyping, visual design, and high-quality delivery
• Establish our design vision and principles; ensure every experience aligns with clinical impact, behavioral science, and our mission
• Build and maintain our design system; enable speed, consistency, and scalability across patient- and provider-facing products
• Conduct deep user discovery with patients, healthcare professionals, and internal experts; translate insights into actionable product developments
• Design new solutions beyond the DiGA offerings, including tools for healthcare professionals and workflows spanning multiple stakeholders
• Collaborate closely with product and engineering teams to rapidly bring ideas to life through experiments, prototypes, and iterative refinements
• Bring clarity to complex domains; distill clinical, data, and regulatory requirements into usable and intuitive experiences
• Use AI responsibly within the user experience, explore new interaction patterns, and design trustworthy interfaces
• Foster a design culture at Una — elevate craft, introduce best practices, and help the company become design-led

Requirements

• 5+ years of hands-on product design experience, preferably in fast-paced startups or early-stage environments
• A strong portfolio demonstrating user-centered design, end-to-end execution, and the ability to simplify complex workflows
• Expertise in UX, UI, interaction design, and research — confident leading the entire process
• Experience building or co-creating design systems that support rapid product iteration
• Fluent in German and English (written and spoken)
• Experience designing AI-driven experiences, including prototyping and exploring new interaction models
• A curious, fast-learning mindset — you quickly grasp new domains, clinical contexts, and user motivations
• Ability to collaborate deeply with product, engineering, and clinical teams to foster structure, clarity, and creativity
