About the role

  • Project Manager serving the National Tribal Child Welfare Center, managing operations and project communications. Overseeing the completion of goals in tribal child welfare programs.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the Project Manager for the National Tribal Child Welfare Center for Innovation and Advancement
  • Manage operations and University systems for the Center
  • Work closely with the Center Leadership Team to ensure timely completion of project goals and deliverables
  • Manage internal project communications
  • Monitor project data collection activities
  • Complete federal reporting activities for the Center

Requirements

  • Previous experience working with American Indian/Alaska Native individuals and/or communities
  • Bachelor’s Degree and seven years of experience managing projects *or* equivalent combination of higher education and experience
  • Demonstrated ability to manage large projects and budgets over $1 million
  • Exceptional organization and time management skills
  • Demonstrated ability to take initiative to identify and propose new tasks and procedures
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Ability to work on a variety of large and small teams with diverse groups of people
  • Flexibility in meeting the varied needs of a large team
  • Excellent customer service skills
