Responsibilities
- Manage bridge engineering projects from concept through completion
- Oversee preparation of design documents, specifications, and cost estimates for bridge and highway projects
- Conduct technical analyses and quality reviews kept with TYLin’s quality assurance standards
- Supervise, mentor, and support the professional growth of engineering staff
- Participate in project performance reviews, forecasting, and risk assessments
- Support regional business development initiatives to expand TYLin’s market presence
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, partners, and industry organizations
- Identify and communicate new project opportunities and partnerships
- Lead proposal development efforts and contribute to strategic pursuits across TYLin’s bridge and transportation teams
Requirements
- P.E. License required
- Master’s degree in Structural Engineering with a focus on bridge design preferred
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in bridge design and project management
- Strong understanding of AASHTO and NYSDOT Highway Bridge design standards
- Established relationships with regional engineering clients and public agencies
- Strong technical judgment
