About the role
- Test Engineer responsible for compliance testing and reporting on client products at TUV Rheinland. Working with regulatory standards and maintaining professional relationships with customers.
Responsibilities
- Responsible for completing all aspects of regulatory compliance testing and reporting on client products
- Meet test objectives by determining testing methods and selecting testing equipment
- Ensure customer test criteria is correctly interpreted and applied
- Perform tests for certification of equipment to applicable domestic or international regulatory standards
- Report and track defects found during testing
- Generate and revise test documents and reports (SOPs, datasheets, methods, etc.)
- Establish and maintain professional relationships with customers
- Participate in creating and evaluating new product test requirements
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in a technical discipline or equivalent education and/or experience
- 3 years of test experience evaluating products in accordance with product regulatory standards
- Strong analytical, problem solving and troubleshooting skills
- Strong engineering knowledge, understanding of testing requirements, manufacturing processes, drawings and standards
- Knowledge of US and international regulatory standards and approval requirements
- Ability to travel
- Valid driver’s license required
- Computer literacy required including Microsoft Office, LIMS and SAP applications.
