About the role
- Senior Data Analyst / Data Modeler shaping the future of enterprise data architecture and governance at Trissential. Collaborating with business stakeholders and engineering teams for high-quality data structures.
Responsibilities
- Support the full data modeling lifecycle—from conceptual business models to physical implementations—ensuring accuracy, consistency, and alignment with enterprise data standards.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders and Product Owners to define conceptual models that reflect real business processes and terminology
- Develop logical data models including entities, attributes, constraints, and relationships
- Translate logical models into physical schemas for relational, columnar, or lakehouse environments
- Perform robust data profiling to assess quality, identify anomalies, and quantify data quality metrics
- Support model-to-source and model-to-target mappings
- Validate performance, scalability, and security considerations for physical models
- Maintain data dictionaries, lineage documentation, and metadata artifacts
- Assist Data Governance teams with taxonomy alignment, naming standards, and quality rules
- Participate in design reviews, change control processes, and governance forums
- Provide impact analysis for any structural or semantic data changes
Requirements
- 10+ years of experience in data analysis, data modeling, or related advanced data roles
- Strong expertise in conceptual, logical, and physical data modeling
- Experience with data profiling techniques and data quality frameworks
- Ability to translate business requirements into structured data artifacts
- Proficiency with SQL and data analysis methods
- Working knowledge of governance, metadata management, and lineage
- Excellent communication skills across both business and technical audiences
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Management, or related field
- Data modeling or data governance certifications are beneficial but not required
