About the role

Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain high-performance backend services and microservices that power real estate portals and internal tools.
- Create secure, robust, and scalable RESTful APIs to support web and mobile frontends.
- Work closely with cloud technologies (AWS) and container orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes) to ensure smooth deployment and operation of services.
- Architect and manage data storage solutions using relational databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL) and streaming platforms (Kafka).
- Champion good software engineering practices by writing testable code, implementing monitoring solutions, and ensuring high system observability.
- Work in a cross-functional agile team, contributing to architectural decisions and code reviews.
Requirements
- Strong proficiency in at least one modern server-side language (TypeScript/Node.js, Java, Scala, Python, or PHP).
- Proven experience building and maintaining RESTful APIs and microservices in a production environment.
- Hands-on experience with AWS, Docker, and Kubernetes.
- Solid understanding of datastores, particularly PostgreSQL or MySQL.
- Previous experience working on high-traffic, B2C consumer-facing products serving millions of users is essential.
- A strong commitment to software craftsmanship, including testing, code quality, and performance optimization.
