About the role

  • Civil engineer planning and managing water resource projects at HOFFMANN-LEICHTER in Leipzig. Collaborating with a team to ensure quality standards and regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities

  • Planning, designing and supervising projects.
  • Ensuring compliance with quality standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Collaborating with an interdisciplinary team of specialists.
  • Playing a key role in the responsible management of our water resources.

Requirements

  • Degree in engineering, ideally in civil engineering with a focus on municipal/urban water management (Siedlungswasserwirtschaft).
  • Alternatively, a degree in process engineering, environmental protection or a comparable field.
  • Initial professional experience in a similar role; experience in site management/construction supervision is a plus.
  • Knowledge of relevant standards such as DIN, DVGW, DWA and VOB.
  • Ideally experienced with industry-specific software such as AutoCAD/BricsCAD, STORM or AVA (cost-estimating/tendering) programs.
  • Able to work independently while appreciating teamwork.
  • Openness, motivation and customer orientation.
  • Business-fluent German in spoken and written form (minimum C1 level).
