Responsibilities
- Leading an accurate, well‑controlled month‑end close and producing clear, insightful management reporting.
- Strengthening financial controls, balance sheet governance and reporting quality across the finance function.
- Owning cashflow management — ensuring real‑time visibility, robust forecasting models and proactive liquidity planning.
- Driving high‑quality budgeting and forecasting cycles that inform decision‑making.
- Managing AP, AR, billing and credit control teams to deliver a smooth, efficient end‑to‑end working capital cycle.
- Optimising working capital performance, improving billing accuracy and reducing risk across customer credit.
- Enhancing finance processes and systems to increase automation, efficiency and data integrity.
Requirements
- A recognised accounting qualification (ACA, ACCA, CIMA) or equivalent experience.
- Experience as a Financial Controller or senior finance leader managing reporting and month‑end close.
- A strong track record improving cashflow, working capital and financial control environments.
- Leadership experience across transactional finance teams (AP, AR, billing, credit control).
- Hands‑on experience driving automation, process improvements or finance transformation.
- Deep understanding of financial controls, balance sheet integrity and reporting accuracy.
- Confidence partnering with senior stakeholders, banks or investors, with strong communication skills.
