About the role
- Controller managing financial reporting and analysis for ju:niz Energy's battery storage projects. Collaborating with finance and management to support strategic decision-making.
Responsibilities
- Support in preparing management and performance reports, and conducting analyses to provide decision-making input
- Contribute to budget planning, forecast preparation and liquidity overviews
- Independently perform variance analyses, including commentary and deriving KPIs for various business units
- Participate in cross-functional projects, e.g., in the budgeting process or system implementations
- Prepare cost center and performance analyses in close coordination with the specialist departments
- Serve as a key user in the ERP system, for example on cost center and cost structure topics
- Further develop controlling processes, reports and data structures
- Work closely with Accounting on monthly and annual financial closings
Requirements
- Completed degree in business administration, finance, controlling or accounting
- Initial practical experience in controlling or finance, e.g., through internships, working-student positions or an entry-level job
- Interest in deeply understanding business models, projects and financial relationships
- Analytical thinking and a structured, solution-oriented approach to work
- Strong Excel skills and enthusiasm for working with data
- Comfortable with digital applications and systems and able to quickly learn new tools
- Very good German and working proficiency in English
