• Senior Test Engineer leading cross-domain system tests across hardware, firmware, and software for tonies innovative audio platform for children. Collaborating with teams to enhance product quality and user satisfaction.

Responsibilities

• You lead complex, cross-domain system tests across hardware, firmware, and software.
• You define and standardize test methods to ensure complete coverage and consistency.
• You are responsible for the automation strategy: from designing scalable test automation frameworks to integrating them into CI/CD environments.
• You lead system-level validation activities and synthesize data into actionable insights for measurable improvements in products and processes.
• You lead structured problem-solving across Engineering and Operations teams.
• You ensure that cross-team feedback loops consistently drive continuous improvement.

Requirements

• Completed degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, or a related field.
• 8+ years of professional experience in electronics and software testing.
• Ability to solve complex, ambiguous, and cross-functional challenges, develop frameworks, and anticipate future issues.
• Proven leadership in collaboration, ensuring alignment across functions and acting as a mentor.
• Experience influencing direction and results across teams/functions and leading scalable initiatives.
• Strong knowledge of modern test automation (e.g., Python) and familiarity with relevant tools (Jira, Git, Testmo).
• Fluent in English and proficient in German (B2).
