Responsibilities
Define and drive the DevOps platform strategy and roadmap across the organization.
Lead the design and implementation of scalable, self-service infrastructure platforms that enable engineering teams
Architect, standardize, and implement container orchestration strategies across multiple clusters and environments (Azure & on-prem).
Ensure high availability for SQL/NoSQL databases, APIs, and front-end services
Drive cloud cost optimization initiatives and implement FinOps practices
Define and drive SLO/SLI frameworks and error budgets across services
Establish observability best practices and drive adoption of SRE principles
Champion DevSecOps practices, integrating security scanning, compliance automation, and vulnerability management into CI/CD pipelines
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related discipline
Proven track record of leading complex infrastructure projects and driving organizational change
Strong programming skills in Python, Go, or similar languages with ability to build production-grade automation tools and services
Proficient in Linux system administration
Experience with at least one scripting language (e.g. Bash, Python)
Familiarity with CI/CD tools such as GitLab CI or Azure Pipelines
Practical experience with Infrastructure as Code using Terraform and Ansible
Experience with capacity planning, performance tuning, and large-scale infrastructure optimization
